Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of Metro Richmond

The PRC is committed to providing compassionate care to women and men who are unprepared for pregnancy by offering resources and practical assistance for life-affirming choices. The Grove family provides financial support through Grove’s Acts 1:8 Mission Offering, promotes the Sanctity of Life, and participates in the annual Walk for Life. Grove members have served as volunteers over the years.

HopeTree Family Services - Virginia

HopeTree Family Services offers a wide range of ministries for at-risk children and youth and their families across Virginia, including: HopeTree Foster Care, HopeTree Academy, Residential Care and Developmental Disabilities Ministry. HopeTree Family Services is supported by the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home & Family Services Foundation, and is a mission partner of the Virginia Baptist Mission 

Moments of Hope Outreach – Richmond, Virginia

Grove members participate in Saturday Servings on the third Saturday of each month. Each Saturday we prepare and serve hot meals, provide basic supplies, and spend time in fellowship with over 250 individuals and families with more coming every week. Small groups work together to meet physical needs for the purpose of sharing Christ through gospel conversations. Contact:

New Clay House Ministry

New Clay House, a Virginia Supportive Housing residential community, opened in 1992. VSH’s mission is to end homelessness by providing permanent housing and supportive services. For over 20 years, Grove has had a team ministering each month where they provide residents a meal, a brief Bible study and relationship building. Currently, we are bringing the residents to Grove on a Wednesday night to enjoy a meal with our church family and to engage in Bible study. Contact:

Global Gates - Greater Richmond Area & Northern Virginia

We lead the Virginia team focusing on reaching Arabic-speaking Muslims and training them in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting methods that are reproducible and practical in their countries of origin. It is a God-sized task to which God has called and equipped the body of Christ. We are also committed to mentoring and training regional churches in strategies to reach unreached people groups God is bringing to their communities.

Learning Friends Ministry

LEARNING FRIENDS volunteer to assist teachers and meet weekly with students for
30 minutes, October-May, to help them master learning skills like reading, writing and math. Principals/Teachers have loved having our LEARNING FRIENDS volunteers come to their schools since our team originated in 2016.

CrossOver Healthcare Ministry

CrossOver provides quality and compassionate healthcare to the uninsured in the greater Richmond area. Our mission is to provide high quality healthcare, promote wellness, and connect the talents and resources of the community with people in
need in the name of Jesus Christ. CrossOver serves and empower patients by providing a comprehensive approach to healthcare for the body, mind, and spirit!

Hope for Israel - Richmond, Virginia

Hope for Israel is a ministry of Jews and Christians who are devoted to the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel. We endeavor to raise awareness and support for Israel by promoting dialogue and understanding through three primary objectives: Education, Advocacy, and Humanitarian Aid. Congregation Or HaOlam - Richmond, Virginia

Congregation Or HaOlam (Light of the World) is a Messianic Jewish Congregation of Jewish and Gentile believers in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). We worship the Lord through Messianic Jewish songs of praise and traditional Jewish Liturgy, as practiced throughout the Jewish world for centuries. We are committed to living a Jewish lifestyle, e.g., celebrating the Sabbath as well as the Jewish Festivals. Our services are held on the Saturday Sabbath in Grove Avenue Baptist Church and we are extremely grateful to Grove for their generosity and support. All are welcome to participate with us.
