Nursery – Birth through Toddlers
The Grove Family Nursery is just the beginning stage of spiritual development for your little one. This loving and peaceful environment is designed to care for and nurture children from birth through toddler. Because children develop differently, the Nursery is divided by developmental stages rather than age groups. From the Infant Room to the Toddler Room, each classroom is designed to meet your child’s needs.
Parents are recommended to bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child’s name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have, such as a blanket or favorite toy. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child, just in case it is needed.
“Jesus loves you, this I know…”
At Grove, we begin with two-year olds teaching them God’s precepts. Children enjoy a fun and creative classroom environment that incorporates Bible stories on DVD, Bible memorization, songs, games, and crafts.
Preschoolers begin to realize during these early years that they are a special creation of God, that God is real, and that He loves them very much.
A Garden of Eden
Our preschool wing is a special section of our educational building designed for younger children. The walls are colorfully decorated with animals, rocks, and trees, reminiscent of the Garden of Eden. We even have a real waterfall!
Parent / Infant Room
Our Parent/Infant Room is located to the left of the Infant Nursery and is available for both parents to enjoy. We offer a private area for moms to nurse and a TV in the room to view the live broadcast while you care for your infant. You will also find a changing table and a restroom.
Safe and Secure
The safety of our children is a high priority. At Grove, we require all our volunteers and workers to be Safe and Secure Trained which includes background checks. Many of our volunteers come from the parents themselves. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for our volunteers to serve and for your children while they are in our care.
The Preschool Check-in Desk is located on the main floor adjacent to the Atrium. Upon your first visit you will be asked to provide parent/child information. You will then be given two stickers, one for your child to wear and then a guardian sticker for you to use when picking up. Pagers are also issued for children under the age of four in the event we need to contact you during your child’s stay. At all subsequent visits you are welcome to check your children in using the IPads at the desk in the Check-In Center.

Our recommendation is that your child is at least six weeks old prior to bringing him or her to the nursery.
During the 9:15 on campus group time there are dedicated leaders that teach every week. Our worship service is handled by parents and volunteers that serve one Sunday every month.
Parents who are members of Grove and have attended for at least 6 months may serve in a variety of ways. There are positions in the classrooms as teachers, co-teachers, and greeters at the Check-In Desk.
Commitment ranges from every week to just once a month. All of our workers must be Safe and Secure trained before serving. In order to adequately fill all of the volunteer positions, parents of preschool age children are required to serve during one service on one Sunday each month.
