"I will never forget what He has done. But sometimes, I do. Sometimes, I forget. I get caught up digging in the trash all around me, and I forget. I get lost in the noise, caught up in the busyness, engage in the criticism, and forget.

When we forget, We find ourselves at a loss to manage the mountains before us. Fear creeps in and reminds us of all the ways we can fail. Overwhelmed, we self-soothe with distractions. Relationships feel hard, our work exhausting, and our mood plummets. Our goals become cloudy and uncertain. It just begins to feel like too much. "

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
