Grove’s Children’s Department is committed to working with families by addressing the issues our children and families are facing in today’s world. Parents at Grove are assured their children are in a safe and secure environment. Our workers are screened and trained, and our children’s safety is maintained through our computerized check-in system.

Every Sunday morning, our children have the opportunity to attend both Sunday School and worship services designed for their particular stage of development. 1st thru 5th graders begin Sunday morning with a 30-minute large-group rally. Then they divide into smaller graded Sunday Schools from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Our Sunday School focuses on disciplining our children to grow in their Christian faith.  During the 11:00 AM hour, our children have the opportunity to attend a worship service just for kids. Kindergarteners thru 1st graders enjoy Kingdom Kids, and 2nd thru 5th graders participate in Kids Church. Our teachers use the latest technology and resources to provide interesting and applicable lessons for children.

On Sunday evenings, during the school year, our kindergarteners thru 5th graders have the opportunity to participate in children’s choirs.

On Wednesday evenings, Grove Avenue is buzzing with activity with our AWANA program! We have AWANA for 2-year-olds thru 8th graders. AWANA combines Bible memorization with fast-paced games. Preschoolers, children, and youth love the excitement of our AWANA program!

During the summer, Grove kids are offered opportunities to experience Vacation Bible School, summer camp, and day camp. We also provide outings for the entire family to enjoy with other Grove families.

Grove loves all children and recognizes that we have children who come from public schools, private schools, and home schools. It is our desire to minister to every child and make them feel that wherever God has placed them in school, they are to be a light for Him.
